Getting to Know You

My name is Mary Conroy and I am the owner and principal designer of Odyssey Design. I have been freelancing for over 8 years now and have been in the creative & marketing industry for nearly 16 years.

My approach is easy. Listen to my customers and what their objectives are. Manage expectations and deliver beyond them.

I am the 'classic' freelance designer and project manager. In that I work from my home office and build my schedule to fit my current projects and client needs. Having this ability allows me to keep my rates in check and provides me the opportunity for unique working relationships.

In short... I love what I do.

I began operations of Odyssey Design in October of 2001. Prior to providing freelance graphic design, marketing and project management services I was a Manager in Baker Newman & Noyes' Marketing Consulting division. Prior to that, I was the firm's Marketing Coordinator.

I am a graduate of Becker College (AS in Interior Design) and the University of Southern Maine (BA in Communication).
